[Matthew 6:25, 33]  Do Not Worry

Do not worry about your life – what you will eat or drink, or your body – what you will wear.  Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? …

“But seek first in His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

[Matthew 7:7-8]  Ask, Seek, Knock

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”

I have found peace and hope in the Bible.  My dear heavenly Father sets me free from my Earthy worries so I can focus on what I need to do everyday.  As a result, I become happier and I do well at work too.

When it comes to things that I have little control of, I pray.  Jesus assured answered prayers as in

[John 16:24} The Disciple’s Grief Will Turn to Joy

“Until now you have not asked for anything in my name.  Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.”

And in deed, He answered many of my prayers – both for myself and for my loved ones.  I’d like to share my joy and hope that you receive His gifts to us.  So here is a suggestion of how you should pray:

[Matthew 6:9]  Prayer

Pray like this:

“‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.

  May your Kingdom come soon.

May your will be done on Earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us today the food we need, and forgive our sins,

as we have forgiven those who sin against us.

And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. “

And remember, keep your prayer simple.

[Matthew 5:36-37]  Oaths

“Do not swear by your head, for you cannot even make one hair white or black.  Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and ‘No’ be ‘No.’  Anything beyond this comes from the evil one.”
